Mkaazi wa Dar es Salaam asema Muungano kati ya Tanganyika na Zanzibar ni bora duniani
Wakati Tanzania ikiadhimisha siku ya Muungano kati ya Tanganyika na Zanzibar, uliotimiza miaka 60 Ijumaa, Rais Samia Suluhu Hassan amewataka vijana nchini humo kuuenzi na kuulinda muungano.
Wakati huo huo vijana katika maadhimisho hayo wameitaka serikali kuwapatia elimu juu ya Muungano ili kuwasaidia kuufahamu kwa undani pamoja na kutatua changamoto zilizopo.
Sherehe za Muungano zimefanyika Jijini Dar es Salaam katika Uwanja wa Uhuru na kuhudhuriwa na Marais kutoka nchi 7 za Afrika ikiwemo Kenya, Burundi, Zambia, Somalia, Comoro na Namibia. Pia imehudhuriwa na Viongozi mbalimbali wa Kiserikali kutoka Barani Afrika.
Wakati akilihutubia taifa Rais Samia amewahimiza vijana kuulinda na kuuenzi Muungano kwa kuwa ni urithi na tunu ya Taifa la Tanzania na ni tunu ya Afrika kwa ujumla.
“Matokeo ya Sensa ya mwaka 2022 yanatuonyesha kwamba idadi kubwa ya Watanzania ni vijana kwa kuzingatia hilo uimara na uendelevu upo mikononi mwa vijana. Nina wasihi sana vijana wote wa Tanzania muwe walinzi wa Muungano huu,” alisema Rais Samia.
Hata hivyo bado vijana wamekuwa wakilalamika ukosefu wa elimu ya Muungano ambayo ilipaswa kutolewa ili kuwasaidia kufahamu haki zao na pia kufahamu mipaka yao katika muungano huo.
